Meerkerk Gardens
A Peaceful Woodland Garden
Meerkerk Gardens is Whidbey’s premier rhododendron garden open to the public. When you visit, you will experience the magic of hidden pathways, inviting panoramic views, and rare species of rhododendrons, azaleas, and specimen trees. Meerkerk Gardens is open to visitors from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. every day of the year except during significant wind or snow events.
Admission is $10 for adults. Kids under 13 are free. Dogs on leash are always welcome! Aside from 10 acres of display gardens, there are 43 acres of woodlands to explore along our nature trails. You may pay admission at the garden entry using cash, checks or credit cards (by use of a QR code). If you would like to pay in advance, please click here. Thank you!

Unlimited Visits for One Annual Price
Now is the perfect time to become a Friend of Meerkerk member. Membership grants you unlimited visits for one annual price. You can enjoy quiet walks on our lesser-known nature trails on a regular basis. If you have a dog, it also will become one of your pet’s favorite new sniffing spots, too. We just ask that you keep your pup on leash.
